Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q)

Question: How often do you update your materials?

Answer:  We continuously update all of our material based on updates and changes to the exams and based on feedback from students and outlines and guidance from regulators.


Question: Can I install the software on more than one computer?

Answer: Yes, you may access your online software from any computer with an internet connection.

You may also download the software to one computer for use when your computer is not connected to the internet.


Question: Does the software expire?

Answer: You have 6 months from the date of purchase to use the online version of the software. The software downloaded to your computer does not expire, you can use it for as long as you like.


Question: I have installed my software and it says that I need an activation code. Where do I find that?

Answer: If you purchased the software over our website your activation code is in your email with the installation instructions. Your activation code is the email address you entered on your order form. Please note that the activation code is case sensitive.


Question: I am getting an error message when I am trying to activate the software, What do I do?

Answer: Please note your activation code is case sensitive. If you have a firewall on your computer you will need to temporarily disable it so that your computer can communicate with our activation server.


Question: I just placed an order and I did not receive my software, what should I do?

Answer: The software was sent instantly to you when your order was placed. Depending on the level of protection you have on your computer, your computer may have sent the unrecognized email to a Spam folder. Please check your Spam folder.


Question: I need some technical support how can I contact you?

Answer: We are located in New York City and provide technical support from 9AM to 5PM  EST. Our sales support team does monitor email after hours and will try to respond to your email questions sent to sales@securitiesce.com


Question: I received a CD at a class and can not activate it, What do I do ?

Answer: Please note, to activate your disk your computer will need to be online and your firewall needs to be disabled. Once you are sure that you are online and your firewall is in the off position, enter the activation code that you received at your class.


Question: My activation code is no longer valid, What do I do?

Answer: After you have installed your software your activation code is disabled by our server to protect our software.


Question: Is the software MAC compatible?

Answer: Our online exam prep software may be used on any MAC, Ipad, Iphone or PC based computer.


Our return Policy:

Due to the permanent nature of our software, once installed there are no refunds on software products.
Students who wish to return textbooks may do so under the following conditions:

  1. You must contact our office and advise us of your intention to return the textbook within 7 days of purchase.
  2. Materials must be returned in brand new undamaged and unmarked condition.
  3. Any marks or damage will result in the denial of any refund for the textbook.
  4. Since we pay to ship the textbooks to you in most cases, all textbooks returned will be subject to a shipping and handling and restocking fee.
  5. If you purchased a textbook as part of a combination textbook and software package, and you have installed the software, the price of the software will be deducted from any potential refund.
